Newsletter: I will post my newsletter to this webpage to keep you updated and informed about what is going on. This newsletter will tell you about upcoming events, past events, special activities, and other important information that will be helpful to you. I really want to encourage you to make time to review the newsletter as well as talk about school activities with your child. This will show your child that you are interested in his/her school and progress.
Birthdays: We love to celebrate birthdays at school. If you would like to have your child celebrate his/her day with his/her classmates, you may do so in a few different ways. You may:
· send treat bags or prizes, no whistles or balloons please (helium filled or empty). Treat bags CANNOT contain food or candy.
· donate a book to the class library
· donate a game or toy to the class
Folders: Each student needs to have one two-pocket folder to carry his/her work papers and important notes to and from school. Your child will be bringing one of the requested folders home each night in their book bag. This folder will be used to relay our daily accomplishments, notes to parents, and other classroom and school activities that we need to share with you. Please make sure you read this information and let your child know that you have taken the time to look at his/her folder each night. If you need to send a note to your child’s teacher, place it in the folder for your child to give to the teacher the next day.
